An 1850’s Charentais farmhouse with swimming pool.
La Roseraie is a large, Charentais farmhouse full of character
with beautiful exposed oak beams, fireplaces and stone and
wood floors.
A 10m x 5m ‘Desjoyeaux’ swimming pool will provide
the family with endless hours of summer pleasure.Spacious
bedrooms, modern bathrooms and large lounges provide space
and tranquility for all. |

Choice of 3 spacious bedrooms provides sleeping accommodation for up to 11 people. A large shaded patio provides an ‘al fresco’ dining area for hot summer evenings.
The house is set in two and a half acres of mature gardens with a variety of trees, an orchard, rose and herb gardens and with flowers in abundance around the lawn areas. Fences and trees secure the boundaries with views of open farmlands and the quiet hamlet of Chez Sicault.

400m from the fascinating La Vallée des Singes (Valley
of the monkeys) and just 45 minutes from Futuroscope.
With its mild climate
and France’s second sunniest region, the Vienne district
of Poitou-Charentes has much to offer visitors. A clean environment,
pretty villages and local market towns such as Civray at
the heart of the region, Gencay and Poitiers it’s capital
city. Vienne also has a highly acclaimed architectural heritage.

There are three local major family attractions:
• Futuroscope -just outside
Poitier
• La Vallée des Singes (Valley
of the Monkeys)
near Romagne
• Chateau des Aigles (Eagles Castle) in the
medieval town of Chauvigny.

recreational areas are all within easy reach to provide everyone
with the holiday of their choice and just an hour’s
drive away are Cognac, Limoges, whilst the
wonderful beaches of La Rochelle, Royan, and St. Palais sur
Mer are just a couple of hours easy drive away.
